Who We Are

We are a Dad and Daughter team on a mission to "Preserve the legacy of the 96th Infantry Division, the "Deadeyes." We created this site to preserve soldier's combat stories, tributes, photos, obituaries, oral histories and more.

"Our intent is to have this website available well beyond our lifetimes."

We have been on-line since 2009 and will be here well into the future!

We have had nearly 60,000 visitors so far!

What We Do

We are preserving and sharing all things Deadeye at this place for their families and descendants.

We have gathered and provided the official US digitalized volumes of the Battles of Leyte and Okinawa, Authentic Battle Statistics, Historical Documents, Biographies, Videos, Photos, and many WWII peripheral items for students of history. Oral Histories is our latest collection. We are working on Obituaries and photos from Leyte and Okinawa during WWII.

There are many educational tools here to be used in history classes for middle school and high school classrooms.

We have designed several personalized Deadeye webpages, with tributes and personal memoirs of many 96th Division Deadeyes. We add more each month. Please email us if you would like to honor your Deadeye this way on Remember the Deadeye.

"This is our Labor of Love: There is never a charge for anything we do for Deadeyes and their families."
