How to Donate to
Thanks for helping with our mission to

We are a Dad and Daughter team on a mission to preserve the legacy of the 96th Infantry Division. We created this site to preserve soldier's combat stories and tributes and to provide many links to items for battle research.

Deadeye,William R Hill, (Bill Hill) of Brownsburg, Indiana & Daughter, Jan Wharton of Grand Lake, Colorado

To this end we have researched, gathered and provided US official digitalized volumes of the Battles of Leyte and Okinawa, Battle Statistics, Declassified Documents, Biographies, Photographs, Videos, and many Eductional and WWII peripheral items for students of history.

We have designed and posted personal Webpages for many Deadeyes, as well as over twenty tributes, and eighteen individual stories of our 96th Division soldiers.

We continue to add more each month at no cost to the Deadeye's family.

We have had some friends of the Deadeyes ask how they can help financially.

We have been on line since 2009 and have personally funded this website, including domain name, software, and secure web hosting through 2024.

Your gift can help purchase additional years to keep this website hosted farther into the future.

Each year our costs are just about $70 for the domain name, software, and website hosting. We can lower the price per year when we purchase a package of multiple years at one time.

We have no other costs of operation.

This is our Labor of Love.
